The WSU Collection
Some of the best years of your life happened on the Palouse, and the lines of that place never fade. The Washington State University Collection by renowned Spokane artist ben joyce turns the Pullman campus into a work of art you can own, painted from a bird’s-eye view so you can find the clock tower, the paths you walked and the corners you still miss.

About the Piece
The piece, now a prominent fixture within the Compton Union Building on the Pullman campus, was commissioned by Greg and Jayne Beckel alongside a group of fellow WSU alumni, including Scott and Lisa Taylor, Dan and Claudia Goodfellow, Mark and Sheryl Ossello, and Jack and Lisa Heath. Their goal was to bring a new artistic landmark to campus and give fans both a chance to own their own version and a way to support Cougar Athletics.

“This is a unique depiction that captivates the essence of a beloved landscape artfully expressing the profound love, connection to place, and the community that exemplifies the unique bond to Washington State University.
My goal for this legacy piece is to allow those with that bond to stay connected and to be able to relive those years on campus, wherever they are in the world, while raising impactful funds for WSU’s NIL program.”
